Why I Blog?

Thank you for visiting. I hope you enjoy your stay. My blog is not as informative as some, as touching as others, or as spiritual as some of my favorites. It isn't even very funny. However, I am finding it to be my home. A place where I can verbally process every thought that needs processing. My goal in writing is to figure out what I think and believe particularly in regards to adoption. I hope to do this all with a Biblical worldview so I can be the best mother, wife, and child of God I am capable of being. I hope my honest thoughts and struggles can help others, but over all, I am doing this for me--Because I am an imperfect Christian who is still learning, still growing, and still striving to be more like Jesus.

"Not that I have already obtained it or have already become perfect, but I press on so that I may lay hold of that for which also I was laid hold of by Christ Jesus. Brethren, I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus." Philippians 3:12-14
